Toronto has for a number of years been the home of a number of top soukous groups playing music from the Democratic Republic of Congo such as Show do Man, Musica Stars, Influence Musica and others. Soukous Boys are the hottest new band on the local African scene. Winners of the Toronto African Music Award for the best new group the Soukous Boys have been dazzling with both their music and their hot dance moves in their few performances so far.
