Organized by Senegalese griot Tamsir Seck, the third annual ‘Xaware Toronto – The Sound of the New Griots’ will feature classes (Sabar and dance instructed by Thiokho Diagne and Papa Ndiaye on August 6, 2010) followed by performances the next day by thirteen artists (including Tamsir Seck, Thiokho Diagne, Papa Ndiaye, Elage Mbaye, El Hadj Diouf among others).
